There is a fish market open every morning and a traditional market
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is a great way to start the day - a wander round the stalls piled high with local
fruit and veg, olives and cheeses, followed by a 'Grand creme' outside one of the bars to revive flagging spirits.

beach at Serignan Plage is
5 mins away, sandy and ideal for young children and nearby Valras Plage and Portiragnes offer alternative beaches which stretch
as far as the eye can see.
Also 5 minutes away - the famous Canal du Midi, from where you can
watch the canal boats wind their way lazily down the waterway and enjoy miles of flat walks and cycle rides along the shady
toe-paths.
